Position Summary

Guarantee the performance of all operations for the markets in scope thePayroll and Time & Attendance processes ensuring respectofemployment lawstaxationand BMS HR policies.

This positionis responsible forthe day-to-day leadership of the BMS payroll team assigned for validatingapprovingand fundingthe payrolls for the markets in-scope acting as first-level of escalation for queries not resolved within the payroll specialist level.

This includes payroll processing projects implementation employee inquirymanagementand issue resolution. This position will also work with our external payroll vendors PSfunctionsand service lines BMS businessFinanceand HRBPs to ensure the effective delivery of end-to-end employee payroll processing and query management.


Detailed Position Responsibilities

  • Act as local and regional ambassador for the implementation and following of the Global Payroll Processes and People Services model.

  • Build& maintainlong-term relationships with customers& keystakeholders.

  • Act as first level of escalation in what regards the payroll issues; reports the payroll escalations on regular basis to the PayrollOperationsLead via the Service Issue Log.

  • Work together with the ADP Client relationship manager and theGlobal Payroll Operations Lead:regular meetings continuous improvement plan hold payroll provider accountable and make sure provider takes the agreed actions.

  • Conduct monthlyin depthpayroll controls and ensure all assigned payrolls are processedtimelyand accurately

  • Partner with the payroll vendor HR and Finance teams and liaison with other vendors to resolve queries.

  • Work with thePayroll Operations Leadon translating the Companys goals &objectivesinto manageable tasks for the team and ensures full understanding among team members.

  • Ensure adherence toestablishedprocessespoliciesand internal controls; supports Sarbanes-Oxley & otherreviewsinternal & external audits.

  • Work together with thePayroll Operations Leadto develop tactics strategies procedures and workflows fordepartmentsactivitiesin order toachieve the established objectives and offer quality services to both internal and external customers.

  • Fulfil periodical / ad-hoc reports for the management team and / or other internal customers based on requests after reviewing with Payroll Operations Lead tovalidaterelevance of the requests.

  • Review and approval of payroll expensesinSAP as needed

  • Participateindevelopmentof payroll strategy.

  • Contribute withideasin order toimprovethe teamactivities and performance.

  • Day to day supervision of the Payroll Teammembers supporting theEMEApayrolltoensure followall approved global payroll and People Services processes.

  • Support and drive assigned Payrollprojecton transforming payroll services.

  • Contribute to project testing and implementation as needed.

  • End to endprocesses and business understanding including activities of other functions.


People Management Responsibilities

  • Manage the process ofpeopledevelopment and performance evaluation providing periodic feedback coaching and empowermentin order topromote professional growth and career.

  • Identifypeopledevelopment plans and ensure their implementation.

  • Provide technical and managerial training to manage people according to their capacity and growth potential.

  • Coordinate / prioritizepeopleactivitiesin order tofacilitateobjectivesachievement.

  • Take actionand motivate people in line with BMSBehaviours.

Desired Experience and Qualifications

  • Solid experience in payroll supervision/ team leader/ team management in payroll/HR service center coveringEMEA.

  • Knowledge of variousEMEAcountries Payroll administration processes.

  • Experience ofworking in a shared services environment.

  • In depth knowledge of payroll principles and practices (company & country).

  • Ability to coordinate different providers projectsactionsand change requests at the same timeand alsohave the skills to get things done from the provider and others.

  • Understanding of HR processes including payroll process Payroll Interfaces andEMEApayroll and fiscal laws.

  • Knowledge of HCMand payroll systems like ADP SAP Workday.

  • Advancedproficiencywith MS Office including Excel (i.e.Power Query Conditional Formatting Pivot Tables Data Visualization) and PowerPoint

  • Excellent quantitative and analytical skills.

  • Takesownership for the areas of responsibility and delivers high quality of work.

  • Ability to assess and promptly resolve problems.

  • Can successfully manage client expectationsand canwork/operatewell with a variety ofpersonalities/capabilitiesina matrixed environment.

  • Good organizational skills andanability to work to deadlines.

Compensation Overview:

Warsaw - PL: zł238943 - zł289543

The starting compensation range(s) for this role are listed above for a full-time employee (FTE) basis. Additional incentive cash and stock opportunities (based on eligibility) may be available. The starting pay takes into account characteristics of the job such as required skills where the job is performed the employees work schedule job-related knowledge and experience. The final compensation will be determined based on demonstrated experience and in accordance with pay equity principles and applicable employment laws.
