The salary for this position is $63000 annually (prorated for partial years worked) you will also have the opportunity to enjoy flexible hybrid work. This position is located in Vancouver but youll be able to work remotely up to 3 days a week. Our office is closed for the 11 statutory holidays in B.C. as well as Easter Monday and Boxing Day.

What youll be doing

Under the Health Professions Act (HPA) BCCNM bylaws policies and procedures the Registration Renewal Assessor works as a member of the Registration Assessment team to determine whether registrants are eligible for renewal with BCCNM and provides direction and advice to registrants who are undertaking this annual process. When a registrant meets the registration requirements the Registration Renewal Assessor is responsible for renewing registration on behalf of the Registration Committee and Registrar.

âKey responsibilities include:

  1. âââAs per BCCNM policies and procedures the Registration Renewal Assessor assesses and determines registration renewal eligibility for existing registrants of BCCNM and acts as a liaison with registrants who have specific queries about the renewal process.
  2. Collaborates with other registration team members to ensure that qualified registrants have their registration renewed in a timely manner.
  3. Follows established work processes related to the renewal application process.
  4. Works with the registration team to meet customer service target processing times for renewal.
  5. Demonstrates a commitment to ongoing learning related to Indigenous cultural safety and humility and supporting organizational actions towards addressing indigenous-specific racism in BCs health care system.

Your education & skills:â

  • âBachelors degree is an asset or an equivalent combination of education and working experience.
  • A minimum of one to three years of experience working in customer service preferably with some database accounts or case management experience.
  • Intermediate to advanced knowledge and experience using current versions of MS Office MS CRM Dynamics and MS SharePoint. Familiar with accessing the web and search engines and experience with organization-specific databases.
  • Excellent customer service skills
  • Proven ability to think critically and act appropriately while ensuring that policies procedures and standards are maintained
  • Demonstrated ability to communicate difficult decisions in a clear and logical manner
  • Demonstrated conflict management and resolution skills
  • Strong attention to detail
  • Strong written and oral communications skills
  • Ability to work effectively in teams
  • Demonstrated understanding of equity diversity inclusion and cultural humility as they apply to health care is an asset.
