Job Summary

Roles and Responsibilities:

  • Execute procurement operations for goods and services in accordance with the organization’s policies.
  • Ensure obtaining the best prices and quality in line with the budget.
  • Draft procurement contracts and ensure compliance with local and international laws and regulations.
  • Review contracts to guarantee clarity of terms and protect the organization’s interests.
  • Negotiate prices payment terms and delivery schedules.
  • Build long-term relationships with reliable suppliers.
  • Adhere to integrity and transparency policies throughout all procurement stages.
  • Ensure contracts comply with humanitarian standards and charitable objectives.
  • Assess risks associated with suppliers and contracts.
  • Develop contingency plans to avoid supply disruptions.
  • Collaborate with other departments to identify needs.
  • Provide periodic reports on contract and procurement status to senior management.

Qualifications and Skills:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration Law or a related field.
  • Minimum of 3 years of experience in contract management or procurement preferably in the nonprofit sector.
  • Good knowledge of local and international contract laws.
  • Strong negotiation and analytical skills.
  • Proficiency in procurement management systems and office software.
  • Fluency in Arabic and English.
  • Previous experience with Supply Chain Management modules preferably in Microsoft Dynamics 365.
  • Experience in negotiating and concluding Purchase Agreements.
  • Understanding of the Three-Way Matching mechanism to ensure accuracy in procurement processes.
