As part of the Microsoft CRM team you will help our clients transform their Sales Service and Marketing functions leveraging Microsoft Dynamics. You will also help deploy and optimize the use of Microsoft Business Applications Suite across several industries to provide enterprises with deep domain knowledge and purpose built front office applications designed to meet the unique needs of the business.

The Opportunity: Manager - Finance Transformation

Our Finance Transformation practice helps our clients finance functions improve their performance across a broad spectrum. As the role of finance evolves within an organization balancing the need to be both a strategist and a steward finance organizations will need to transform their processes people and analytic tools in order to manage these changes effectively. These changes include streamlining finance operations by increasing the efficiency of the finance organization and improving the effectiveness of finance by integrating performance management and analytic applications such as performance score carding reporting budgeting and forecasting capabilities.

The PwC Consulting group is presently seeking to fill the position of Manager ERP system Implementations within the Finance Transformation Practice.

Responsibilities:

Engagement Delivery

  • Work and lead on engagements with multidisciplinary teams primarily focused on leading/supporting ERP implementations

  • Serve key resource to bring technology and Finance processes together during ERP system implementations

  • Finance transformation (including within an ERP or Planning and Budgeting tool implementation)

  • Conduct organizational diagnostics across all finance processes

  • Conduct analyses in support of improvement initiatives (e.g. costing cost-benefit benchmarking)

  • Analyze financial and operational data;

  • Establish credibility with existing and new clients by demonstrating subject matter expertise and knowledge in finance strategy and EPM

  • Vendor and software selection (including business requirements gathering)

Engagement Management

  • Support the engagement director / partner in managing engagement risk and project economics including planning and budgeting

  • Prepare and review deliverable content

  • Ensure the quality of deliverables meets with PwC and client expectations

Business Development

  • Participate in and lead aspects of the proposal development process

  • Contribute to proposal writing

  • Team with PwC colleagues in other lines of services in support of client needs for Finance Consulting services

  • Support the development of thought leadership and point-of-view documents

People Development:

  • Perform role of coach; and actively participate in staff recruitment and retention activities

  • Share knowledge across the global PwC network

  • Provide input and guidance into the firms staffing/resource management process

  • Actively participate in staff recruitment

  • Be aware and up to date with all technology and market developments

Location

  • Bangalore India

Requirements:

  • 10-15 years of professional experience including more than four years in consulting/professional services

  • Big 4 consulting background and/or boutique consulting experience is a plus

  • 10 years of professional experience in financial services

  • Experience managing complex projects within a professional services environment and a global delivery model is ideal

  • Previous experience working in Finance & Accounting areas is an asset

  • Background in the development of key indicators and metrics to evaluate the corporate performance and cascading metrics to functions teams and individuals

  • Experience in development of EPM blue prints (including baseline of EPM capabilities development of high level solution design and delivery of business cases and program roadmaps)

  • In addition the candidate(s) must have experience in one or more of the following fields:

  • Working expertise in Financial Planning and Analysis forecasting and budgeting management reporting Record-to-Report financial close consolidation financial and management reporting;

  • Understanding of the core Accounting areas

  • Experience in process improvement or re-engineering initiatives and projects in the planning budgeting and forecasting areas.

  • Experience implementing Strategic modelling and value driver analysis

  • Experience leading both external and internal teams on medium or large scale finance transformations

  • Understanding of or hands-on experience with financial applications and/or enterprise management solutions (e.g. SAP S4/Hana Workday Financials Oracle AFCS / AHCS or Microsoft F&O) is preferred.

  • High level of client service orientation such as building solid relationships with clients and vendors; approaching clients and vendors in an organized manner demonstrating flexibility in prioritizing and completing tasks

  • Excellent team player with strong leadership skills and an understanding of personal and team roles; contributing to a positive work environment and proactively seeking guidance and feedback.

  • Superior project management skills

  • Excellent communication skills oral written presentation

  • Strong problem solving orientation and analytical skills.
