Job Summary

Our client is a leading company in the engineering procurement fabrication and modularization industry specializing in large-scale projects for oil & gas petrochemical mining and power plant sectors. With over 30 years of experience and one of the largest fabrication facilities in Thailand the company delivers high-quality structural steel industrial modules and pressure vessel components for both domestic and international clients.

Position Title: Accounting Manager

Location: Rayong Thailand

Responsibilities:

Supervise review & monitor monthly closing accounting period.
Do monthly management report budget forecast and MIS report.
Oversees the general accounting function which includes closing monthly period inter-company accounting cash management/reconciliation financial reporting balance sheet management (excluding inventory related items)
Accountable for ensuring that policies and procedures (internal controls) are in place to provide reasonable assurance that the company assets are protected.
Ensures that company financial records under responsibility are maintained in compliance with company policies. Responsible for reviewing monthly/quarterly account reconciliations and other documents to ensure this compliance.
Ensures that company financial reports are prepared in compliance with policies and Regional reporting requirements.
Supervises the completion of related tax reporting requirements (including income property sales and use payroll and other local taxes) insurance reports and other reports required by government regulation. Also assists with dealing with tax related issues and meeting reporting requirements.
Ensures that the computer system continues to operate as required. Involved in validating/designing suggested changes to ensure accounting requirements continue to be met.
Coordinates work relating to both internal and external audits in the periodic review of the company financial records. Is further responsible for the implementation of agreed upon recommendations related to areas of responsibility resulting from the audit findings

Requirements

Minimum 3-5 years of experience as an Accounting Manager with hands-on responsibility for managing accounting functions
Direct experience in the steel fabrication industry at the Accounting Manager level
English communication skills (both speaking and writing) at an upper-intermediate level or above
Prior experience working in a company that utilizes an ERP system for accounting and financial operations
