Job Summary:

This role is responsible for leading and providing continuous guidance to a team of individual contributors.
The role manages resources printer manufacturing engineering issue resolutions in current products while focusing on assembly processes at manufacturing partner location.
The role maintains adherence to goals timelines and process standards while fostering open communication with manufacturing partners and issue escalation.
The role oversees relationships with stakeholders driving collaboration and setting expectations to meet key deliverables.
The role actively identifies process enhancements and cost reduction opportunities while championing engineering and operational excellence.

Responsibilities:

Provides direct and ongoing leadership for a team of individual contributors designing engineering solutions and coordinating projects utilizing multiple engineering disciplines for products systems software and solutions.
Manages headcount deliverables schedules and costs for multiple ongoing projects ensuring resources are appropriately allocated; access and mitigate risks.
Ensures goals objectives timelines and operational performances are met in accordance with program and organizational key focus areas.
Communicates project status and escalates issues to direct managers program managers and internal and external partners.
Manages relationships with outsourced partners and suppliers including setting expectations regarding deliverables product quality schedules and cost improvements.
Ensures that team members are effectively communicating and collaborating with manufacturing partners and cross functional internal teams.
Identifies opportunities for process improvement and cost reductions opportunities and recommends changes in alignment with business tactics and strategy.
Champion engineering and operational excellence establishing metrics and process for regular assessment and improvement.
Performs talent management responsibilities including recruitment performance management coaching and career development.
Ensures that proper knowledge and career development tools are in place to support ongoing team member and process development.

Qualifications:

Graduate Degree in Mechanical Engineering Electrical Engineering Computer Science or any other related discipline or commensurate work experience or demonstrated competence.
Typically has 710 years of job-related experience or 57 years of management experience preferably in production engineering manufacturing assembly design and development design tools assembly quality or a related field.
