Your role as a Registered Nurse Med/Surg
As a Full-Time Registered Nurse in Med/Surg at Southwest Health System Inc. youll play a crucial role in delivering exceptional patient care with efficiency safety and courtesy. What matters most
To excel as a Full-Time Registered Nurse in Med/Surg at Southwest Health System Inc. youll need a robust set of skills and qualifications. A graduate of an accredited nursing program you must hold a current Registered Nurse licensure in Colorado or a compact license.
Knowledge and skills required for the position are:
Nursing Requirements:
- Graduate of an accredited school of nursing. Associate degree required (bachelors degree preferred)
- Current Registered Nurse Licensure within state of Colorado. Compact license accepted and Colorado License must be obtained within first 90 days of hire.
- Current BLS certification.
- Current PALS certification within 6 months of hire 12 months if a new graduate.
- Current ACLS certification within 6 months of hire 12 months if a new graduate.
- Successful completion of EKG course within 4 months of hire.
Language Skills:
- Able to communicate effectively in English both verbally and in writing.
- Additional languages preferred.
Skills:
- Basic computer knowledge.
- Strong communication skills
