Job Summary
NorthStar Memorial Group is seeking an Assistant Superintendent at Mountain View Memorial Park. Responsibilities
- Assist the superintendent with the overall physical appearance and condition of cemetery grounds funeral homes mausoleums crematories buildings roads and walkways to which he/she is assigned
- Operate equipment in a safe and careful manner
- Ensure that all members of the caretaker team observe Federal (OSHA) state and local safety requirements for themselves and visitors to the cemetery
- Able to fill any role required in the groundskeeping/facilities maintenance function
Qualifications
- 3 years of experience in maintaining grounds preferably in a cemetery
- 1 years of experience in managing or leading maintenance workers
- Ability to fill any role in the grounds-keeping duties
- Maintain knowledge and adhere to OSHA law
- Professional communication and strong leadership skills
Compensation
- $31.00 - $35.00/hr. depending on previous cemetery and leadership experience
