Period of Performance: Initial 3-Month Requirement (with possible extension)
Position Overview
FCI Atlanta is seeking licensed Physicians to provide general medical services via telemedicine and/or on-site visits to the inmate population. Services are delivered in coordination with institutional healthcare staff.

Position Overview
FCI Atlanta is seeking licensed Physicians to provide general medical services via telemedicine and/or on-site visits to the inmate population. Services are delivered in coordination with institutional healthcare staff.
Schedule:
- Sunday Saturday
- Between 6:00 AM 4:30 PM
- Not to exceed 8 hours per day without approval
- Frequency based on patient needs
Duties & Responsibilities:
- Provide comprehensive medical care in accordance with accepted standards
- Conduct telehealth and in-person clinical encounters
- Perform physical examinations and medical assessments
- Order and interpret diagnostic tests and lab results
- Prescribe medications and treatment plans
- Manage chronic and acute medical conditions
- Coordinate referrals to specialists and hospitals
- Respond to medical emergencies and assist with CPR/AED
- Document care accurately in institutional medical records
Equipment:
Telemedicine equipment and clinic supplies provided by the institution
Qualifications:
- Current unrestricted Physician license (any U.S. state)
- Graduate of an AMA-approved medical school
- Ability to pass drug screening and background investigation
