We currently have opportunities to join our Waste and Recycling team as a Refuse HGV Driver/Loader.
* Please note The 40 hours per week and salary banding is subject to ongoing consultation which concludes at the end of January 2026.
Your role:
Youll be responsible for driving HGV Refuse Collection Vehicles and loading refuse recycling garden food waste and sacks onto the lorry - always prioritising health safety and excellent customer care. This role is essential in keeping our streets clean and tidy.
As the Driver for your round youll also act as chargehand taking accountability for the vehicle and crew each addition youll assist with in-cab technology ensuring accurate and timely completion of all information related to your route.
What you will need:
You will need to holda full UK Drivers License an LGV Class 2 Category C licence and a valid driver Certificate of Professional Competence (CPC).
If youre reliable enjoy working as part of a team have a keen awareness of health and safety and dont mind physical work in all weather conditions wed love to hear from you.
