Job Summary
Majority of the work to be done is residential.
Responsibilities for this position include:
- Deck Modifications or Builds for Vertical Platform Lifts
- Handicap Accessible Bathroom Remodels
- Walk-In Tubs Installations
- Door Widening
- Flooring Installation and thresholds
- Installation of Safety Equipment such as grab bars railings and other assistive devices.
- Willingness to learn all accessible equipment Accessibility department offers. Like:
oLow Threshold or Zero Barrier Showers Installations
oCeiling Track Installations
oStairlifts
oModular Ramps - Company Vehicle Responsibility - Respect this vehicle and privilege. Report any maintenance immediately to the construction manager if service is required. It is your duty to restock and clean out the vehicle. Follow all rules and guidelines given with this privilege i.e. gas cards
- Inventory odds and ends misc. duties as needed around the store will be required during any down time.
- Attend department and company meetings as requested.
- Learn and carry out any additional tasks or designated job duties.
We are looking for someone capable of handling various remodeling tasks especially in creating accessible spaces. An individual who possesses skills in carpentry basic plumbing LVT flooring installation drywall hanging and finishing painting and on the job troubleshooting skills. Readiness to learn and adapt are vital traits to this position. Experience as a service technician and exposure to electrical would be highly valuable with this position.
Position Requirements:
- High School diploma or equivalent.
- Must be able to lift 50 lbs.
- Home remodeling experience required.
- Must be mechanically inclined.
- Must be team oriented.
- Must be able to work independently and/or with other team members.

- Kind & understanding personality.
- Customer Service experience preferred.
This position is open to the individual who currently possesses skills in the construction/residential remodeling field. Expectations are to be able to take those skills and to adapt the Westside/Eastside Medical values and products executing projects to our Aging in Place community.

Pay: $24.00 - $28.00 per hour
Experience: Residential construction - 3 years (Required)
License/Certification: Drivers License (Required)
