Job Summary

License/Certification/Registration:
*Registered Nurse required with active MN license
*Current BLS certification required PALS preferred
*Current TNCC or ATCN preferred or will complete TNCC within first 6 months of hire

Education:
*Bachelors required or equivalent experience
*Masters degree preferred

Experience:
*5 years acute care experience caring for injured patients required; pediatric trauma experience preferred
*Experience in quality and performance improvement required

Knowledge/Skills/Abilities:
*Demonstrated ability to develop written resources conveying complex clinical information for distribution to a broad audience
*Experience with conference exhibit presentation
*Knowledge of regional healthcare market helpful
*Excellent analytical skills and decision-making skills
*Ability to lead and work well in a team environment
*Ability to successfully complete self-directed work
*Ability to quickly assimilate apply new information and use data to develop strategies and resources
*Excellent verbal written communication and interpersonal skills
*Demonstrated ability to manage multiple ongoing projects and competing priorities
*Sensitivity to confidential information
*Ability to travel independently to conferences within MN ND SD and/or WI occasionally held on weekends

The posted salary represents a market competitive range based on salary survey benchmark data for similar roles in the local or national market. When determining individual pay rates we carefully consider a wide range of factors including but not limited to market indicators for the specific role the skills education training credentials and experience of the candidate internal equity and organizational needs.

In addition to your salary this position may be eligible for medical dental vision retirement and other fringe benefits. Positions that require night weekend or on-call work may be eligible for shift differentials or premium pay.

Position Summary

This position serves as a liaison to referring institutions and EMS agencies and serves as an extension of the service line. This role develops and administers educational outreach resources and programs in collaboration with others within Childrens Minnesota and community partners. Builds relationships with referring institutions through case review policy and protocol development and performance improvement efforts focused on improved patient care. Collaborates with Childrens Minnesotas strategy and growth teams to utilize market data and relationship networks to drive referral development and improved pediatric trauma care. This position coordinates participation in external conferences and represents the organization during those events.
