TheR&D Lab Technicianwill support R&D Department functions by collecting samples performing testingdocumentingand communicating results andoperatingand maintaining laboratory equipment. What you will do:
Assistin magnetic bead-based development by applying basic chemistry knowledge particularly in chemical synthesis methods
Play a key role in laboratory functions such as DNA extraction RNA extraction PCR qPCR capillarysequencingand Next GenerationSequencing
Generateclear and concise technical reports
Execute experimental strategy developed by managerand senior laboratory personnel
Workwith senior laboratory personnel to review progress and present results
Maintain laboratory cleaning maintenance and safety per SOPs
Revise and update SOPs as needed
Follow established company SOP and ISO 9001 Guidelines
What you will need:
BS or MS degree in a life science areachemistry background preferred
2 yearsprevioussyntheticchemistry ormolecular biology laboratory or equivalent experience
Experience or knowledge of workflows with DNA & RNA extraction
Able to obtain half face respirator certification upon hire
Ability to lift 30lbs
