Registered Nurse - Coordinator Position Summary
Provides direct patient care using the nursing process and supports unit coordination activities to promote safe high-quality outcomes. Serves as a resource to staff and assists with scheduling education and performance initiatives. Reports to the Director or Manager of Department.

Patient Populations Served: Neonate Infant Early Childhood Late Childhood Adolescent Young Adult Middle Adult Older Adult. Protected Health Information Accessed: Demographic Clinical Insurance Financial Complete Medical Record. Exposure: Occupational exposure to bloodborne pathogens may be present. Physical Requirements (typical): Frequent standing walking lifting/moving patients keyboard entry and repetitive hand/arm movements; occasional sitting squatting and kneeling; rare running or climbing. Regular exposure to biological and chemical hazards including blood/body fluids hazardous medications and latex.
Knowledge Skills & Abilities
Education: Associates Degree in Nursing required; Bachelors Degree in Nursing preferred. Licensure/Certifications: Current RN license in state of practice; BCLS required; ACLS and PALS preferred; Handle with Care preferred. Skills: Critical thinking decisive judgment and ability to work with minimal supervision in stressful environments. Proficiency navigating multiple clinical software systems. Effective English communication (read write speak and understand). Ability to complete the Skills Competency Checklist within 90 days of hire.
