Lead Java Software Engineer – Markets CRM Platform

As a VP Engineer in the Markets CRM Platform team you will lead a global group of engineers to design and deliver advanced technology solutions. You will architect and support both front-end and back-end services ensuring our platforms remain secure scalable and innovative. You will foster a collaborative culture drive technical excellence and contribute to the continuous improvement of our systems. Your leadership will empower the Markets business and support our commitment to technology-driven success.

Job Responsibilities:

• Lead the development and support of front-end and back-end services for the Markets CRM platform
• Execute software solutions design development and technical troubleshooting
• Create secure high-quality production code and maintain robust algorithms
• Produce architecture and design artifacts for complex applications
• Gather analyze and synthesize data to drive continuous improvement
• Identify and address hidden problems and patterns in data and systems
• Drive improvements to coding hygiene and system architecture
• Contribute to engineering communities of practice and technology events

Required Qualifications Capabilities and Skills:

• Bachelors or Masters degree in Computer Science Engineering or related field or formal training/certification in software engineering concepts
• Hands-on experience as a developer and technical leader in large corporate environments
• Expertise in Java fundamentals object-oriented programming multi-threading messaging technologies and computer networks
• Experience building high-performance latency-sensitive Java applications
• Understanding of agile methodologies CI/CD application resiliency and security best practices
• Experience developing debugging and maintaining code using modern programming and database querying languages
• Knowledge of cloud artificial intelligence machine learning and mobile technologies
• Experience maintaining and troubleshooting software in Linux environments with familiarity in containers and cloud architectures/services
• Strong interpersonal and communication skills with experience working in global teams
• Commitment to continuous learning and improvement

Preferred Qualifications Capabilities and Skills:

• Familiarity with modern front-end technologies such as React Angular or
• Exposure to cloud technologies including AWS Azure or GCP
• Experience with Python and front-end development
• Practical experience with FIX messaging protocol and QuickFIX/J
• Familiarity with Hazelcast or other distributed computing platforms
• Experience with distributed systems microservices and event-driven architectures
