Job Summary
POSITION SUMMARY
The Risk & Underwriting Senior Analyst is responsible for managing a portfolio of international renewals and overseeing new business quoting activities.
The position focuses on driving growth through the acquisition and retention of large-case clients ensuring competitive solutions and exceptional service throughout the process.
ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS
Underwritesan inforce book of business and new business quotes focused on attaining profitable growth persistency and earnings.
Performs case-specific risk assessments.
Responsible for account level rate development and conducting sales strategy discussions with internal business partners.
Proficient with manual rating pricing methodologies and new business and renewal pricing strategies.
Responsible for an assigned book of business consisting of accounts in our SME (Small-to-Medium Employer) segment.
Works directly with Sales and Client Management teams on new business quotes and renewals requires the ability to articulate our pricing strategies risk concerns and underwriting analysis.
QUALIFICATIONS
Bachelors degree in Finance Business or related field and/or equivalent work experience.
1 years of underwriting finance or related experience strongly preferred.
Strong organizational and prioritization skills.
Analytical and financial acumen.
Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
Success in multi-tasking environment.
Detail oriented and team player.
If you will be working at home occasionally or permanently the internet connection must be obtained through a cable broadband or fiber optic internet service provider with speeds of at least 10Mbps download/5Mbps upload.For this position we anticipate offering an annual salary of 56700 - 94500 USD / yearly depending on relevant factors including experience and geographic location.
This role is also anticipated to be eligible to participate in an annual bonus plan.
