Job Summary
Senior Helpers is hiring qualified Home Health Aides for immediate starts on all shifts for clients in the Mount Dora area. Starting pay is $15 per hour for weekday shifts and $16 per hour for weekend shifts. Extra pay for all holiday shifts. Flexible schedules available

Job Description
Caregivers at Senior Helpers provide personal care services for our clients that enable them to safely and comfortably remain in their homes. Caregiver duties include helping clients with personal care tasks such as bathing dressing eating grooming and toileting. Examples include:
- Companionship (playing games talking going for walks)
- Light housekeeping including laundry
- Meal planning and preparation
- Assisting with Activities of Daily Living (ADLs) such as showering eating and grooming
- Transfer assistance between bed chairs wheelchairs etc.
- Transportation to appointments and errands
- Medication reminders
Required Qualifications:
- Previous professional experience providing personal care specifically for a private-duty home care agency or in a care facility
- Valid drivers license or government-issued photo ID
- Level 2 Background Screen from the State of Florida Agency for Healthcare Administration (AHCA).
- Must be at least 18 years of age
- Active CPR certification from an in-person hands-on American Heart Association certified course.
- Reliable transportation to and from shifts
- Excellent communication skills with a kind caring and compassionate demeanor
