PART-TIME CONTRACTOR Openings in Little Elm & Celina area:
SMART Montessori Music provides music and movement classes to all children (infant through 5 years and possibly lower elementary) and some music drama summer camps at private licensed Montessori preschools.
Children learn best in a multi-sensory environment and music provides this in a fun way. Each class in the school will come to our music classes for 20-30 minutes with their classroom teacher once per week in the morning between 8:30 or 9 am to around noon depending on the school. Our Music & Movement classes are filled with music and movement and thematic singing based on the season and holidays of the month using a wide array of music including Charlotte Diamond Peter & Ellen Allard Miss Carole Peterson and seasonal LDS Childrens Music.
Music teachers need not have formal music/drama degrees or training just a love for young children and joy of singing and moving to music.
Paid training monthly thematic curriculum and music will be provided. Teachers only need to provide their own CD player or speaker/phone setup.
Morning Music Classes will be paid at a starting rate of $25/hr.
On-job training paid at $15/hr will be given as soon as hired at various school(s).
We for sure NEED a teacher for 2 mornings with opportunities to substitute in Frisco & McKinney areas if interested.
***You will be required to pay for your own licensing background check/fingerprinting fees and Pediatric CPR/1st Aide certifications before training is completed.

Compensation: $15.00 - $25.00 per hour
