Job description
Dipont Education is seeking abilingual Mathematics teacher to join our high school program at Hangzhou Foreign Languages School one of the most well-established and highly regarded schools in China.
Background
Founded in 2008 our A-level program delivers Cambridge IGCSE and A-Level in a range of subjects.
About the School
Location
HFLS is located 30-40 drive to the west of the Hangzhou CBD. Tea fields adorn the nearby hillsides ideal for hiking. If you choose to live downtown shuttle buses are provided for your commuting needs.
Curriculum
You will be responsible for the successful delivery of Cambridge A-level courses across a wide range of disciplines. Our curriculum is international challenging and stimulating for both teachers and students.
Students
HFLS students are bright motivated and ambitious presenting few disciplinary challenges. Every year 80% of graduates are admitted to top universities in China and abroad and many go on to have high-profile careers. More than 30 HFLS graduates are now serving in Chinas foreign ministry.

Our international programs are delivered through specialized curriculum centers within each host school. We support a network of A-level Advanced Placement program and IBDP (International Baccalaureate Diploma Program) centers in cities across China.
Our management support includes:
curriculum development
academic quality management
recruitment and management of expatriate teachers
school-based college counseling.
Dipont-managed centers are located in a dedicated section of the host school and students transfer into the centers either in Grade 10 or Grade 11.
Grade 10 is a preparatory our A-level and IBDP centers students study for the iGCSE (International General Certificate of Secondary Education) while in our AP centers they study a pre-Advanced Placement program. Students are enrolled full-time in our A-level and IBDP centers. For the AP program students continue with the Chinese curriculum and take AP courses additionally.
One of the key aims within each center is to adequately prepare our students for successful university careers and for life overseas in part developed through international teaching methods that encourage critical thinking debate and application of learning.

Job requirements

High level of subject knowledge within specialism.
Experience with AP A-Level or IBDP curriculaat high school level. (preferred)
