Med/Surg Department - Grand River Health Rifle CO
What Youll Do
The Registered Nurse (RN) works as a contributing member of the Med/Surg Departmentat our main hospital campus. They will provide professional nursing care treatment counseling and health education to assigned inpatients. The RN works as a part of ahealth careteam and plans in conjunction with physicians and other care team members.
- Monitors vital signs and administers medications including intravenous medications with input from the care team.
- Supports patients with bandage care pain management and ensuring they rest drink fluids and eat properly.
- Tracks patient progress updates medical records and communicates with doctors as needed.
- Educates patients and stands up for them when necessary.
- Helps maintain health and prevents illnesses injuries and disabilities.
- Completes various tasks as assigned.
Who Were Looking For
- Graduation from an accredited school ofNursing.
- Valid registration as a Registered Nurse in the State of Colorado.
- Must have current BLS card upon hire.
- Position also requires ACLS PALS or ENPC certification within 6 months of initial employment.
- All required certifications must maintain current status throughout GRHD employment.
- Prefer one year of professional nursing experience in a patient care setting. Must be 18 years of age or older.
