JOB SUMMARY
The Wholesale Parts Shipping and Receiving Manager will manage the shipping and receiving operation along with verifying and keeping records on incoming and outgoing shipments and assisting with preparing items for shipment when required. Assures proper control of parts inventory and related administrative functions.

Responsibilities
- Manage the shipping and receiving operation and insure that it is properly staffed
- Count weigh or measure items outgoing shipments verity information against invoices orders and other records
- Determine method of shipment utilizing knowledge of shipping procedures routes and rates
- Keep all bins aisles and storage areas clean and clearly labeled
- Insure receiving and shipping records delivery truck maintenance records and returned parts records are retained accordingly
- Oversee the unpacking and examining incoming shipments reject damaged items record shortages and correspond with shipper to rectify damages and shortages
- Ensure that outgoing shipments meet specifications
- Maintain inventory of shipping materials and supplies
Qualifications
- High School Diploma or Equivalent
- Must be able to lift 50 lbs
- Must have a clean and valid drivers license
- Ability to use parts department computer system
- Good communication skills
