NAYA Family Center is seeking a trauma informed and experienced Domestic Violence Advocate to join our Family Services Department within the Healing Circle Program. This role provides culturally specific trauma-informed support and case management for Native American-identified survivors of domestic violence. You will work closely with participants community partners and team members to ensure safety access to resources and survivor-led advocacy.

This is a full-time position between the working hours of 9am - 6pm Monday through Friday that may include evenings and occasional weekends as needed.
The pay for this position is $27 hourly.
Who You Are:
- You have a Bachelors degree in social work or a related field or 3 years of experience supporting survivors of domestic and sexual violence; applicable lived experience is considered.
- You are knowledgeable about the justice system local victim services and culturally specific support for Native American communities.
- You are experienced in trauma-informed survivor-led and harm reduction approaches.
- You have strong interpersonal communication and active listening skills.
- You are able to manage a high-volume caseload (1015 participants) efficiently and remain composed in stressful situations.
- You are proficient with computer tools including MS Office web-based research and database systems for case management (e.g. ETO Counselor Max SAGE).
What Youll Do:
- Provide individualized case management including crisis intervention safety planning goal setting and advocacy for legal medical and housing needs.
- Maintain accurate and confidential records completing intakes danger assessments goal plans and required documentation.
- Assist participants with accessing public benefits protective orders and other resources.
- Coordinate wraparound services and collaborate with other NAYA programs and community partners.
- Participate in program department agency and community meetings as assigned.
- Provide navigation services at the Gateway Center for Domestic Violence one day per week.
- Uphold trauma-informed practices and culturally specific support for all participants.
- Maintain confidentiality at all times and complete VAWA compliant releases of information as appropriate.
- Other duties as assigned by the Healing Circle Manager and Family Services Director.
