Job Description
We are seeking a skilled Boot Maker to join our team at Hudson Talent Solutions. As a Boot Maker you will be responsible for crafting high-quality custom-made boots using traditional techniques and materials. Your attention to detail craftsmanship and ability to work with clients to understand their needs will be essential in this role.
Key responsibilities include:
- Measuring and fitting clients to ensure a comfortable and personalized fit
- Selecting appropriate materials such as leather suede and other textiles to create the desired boot design
- Cutting stitching and assembling the boot components with precision
- Finishing the boots with polishing conditioning and other finishing touches
- Providing excellent customer service and collaborating with clients to meet their specific requirements
The ideal candidate will have:
- Extensive experience in boot making or a related field with a strong understanding of traditional boot-making techniques
- Excellent attention to detail and a keen eye for quality
- Strong problem-solving and critical thinking skills to address any challenges that may arise during the boot-making process
