PRIMARY RESPONSIBILITIES - Operates limited medical X-ray equipment having basic knowledge in clinical applications of radiologic techniques.
- Performs basic diagnostic radiographs.
- Performs basic CT procedures including contrast studies.
- Provides administrative assistance for procedures which are pertinent to the radiology service.

ADDITIONAL RESPONSIBILITIES - Transports patients to and from assigned area.
- Provides radiation protection to self and public.
- Working knowledge of PACS system.
- Adheres to the dress code attendance and all other company policies and procedures.

KNOWLEDGE AND SKILL REQUIREMENTS - Graduate from an accredited radiologic technology program required; American Registry of Radiologic Technologists (ARRT) certification preferred.
- Basic reading writing and arithmetic skills is normally acquired through a high school diploma or equivalent.
- Good verbal and written communication skills.
- Adaptable to changing work schedules and patient needs.
- Knowledge of medical terminology preferred.

WORKING CONDITIONS - May be exposed to the risk of communicable diseases and radiation.
- May require handling of unclean or infectious materials.
- Normally works in a well-lighted well-ventilated area.
- Must be able to work under the stress and conditions that normally exist in a hospital setting.
- Classification Category 1 Tasks that involve exposure to blood bodily fluids or tissues.
