Job Summary
Responsible for teaching Health Education classes to middle school students entirely in Spanish for dual-language program school. Specific duties include: (1)Developing and administering Health Education classes entirely in Spanish (including health and nutrition biological functions and mental wellbeing); (2) Teaching knowledge and understanding of physiology health and nutrition anatomy and biological functions entirely in Spanish; (3) Maintaining records grading and reporting for student activities achievement and attendance; (4) Encouraging parental involvement in students education and ensuring effective communication with students and parents; (5) Collaborating with other staff members and participating in faculty meetings; (6) Participating in student and parent activities including curriculum nights parent/teacher conferences and school events.
REQUIREMENTS: Bachelors (any); Minnesota teaching license; Spanish language
proficiency; successful completion of criminal background check.
ANNUAL SALARY: $59407-$75000. Benefits include employer paid life insurance medical
& dental insurance PTO.
