What youll do

As part of the GTM team the Financial Analyst will be responsible for supporting General and Administrative areas (G&A) and Sales. This individual will develop financial analysis craft and prepare financial plans and budgets and communicate financial information to various stakeholders and Docusign leadership.


This position is an individual contributor role reporting to the FP&A Director.

Responsibility

  • Partner with the GTM team to assist in the preparation of annual budgets forecasts and financial plans

  • Support the creation and presentation of financial analyses forecasts and reports to business and finance partners enabling informed decision-making

  • Contribute to the preparation of monthly reporting packages for senior management including explanations of variances between actuals and forecasts

  • Analyze budget variances and provide actionable insights to improve financial performance and cost efficiency

  • Assist in the monthly close process including preparing flash reports and analyzing expense variances

  • Build and maintain presentations to update senior leadership on departmental performance and forecasts

  • Reconcile workforce planning and headcount on a monthly basis

  • Support the development and maintenance of financial metrics dashboards for senior management and business partners

  • Contribute to high-quality timely analyses to support business performance including building financial models for new opportunities and critical initiatives

Job Designation

Hybrid: Employee divides their time between in-office and remote work. Access to an office location is required. (Frequency: Minimum 2 days per week; may vary by team but will be weekly in-office expectation)

What you bring

Basic

  • BA or BS degree in Business Finance Accounting or a related field
  • 2 years of experience in Finance with an emphasis on budgeting forecasting and financial planning
  • Fluent in English

Preferred

  • High level of proficiency in all productivity tools including Google Sheets and sophisticated modeling skills
  • Experience with Adaptive and Oracle or other large well-known ERP and accounting systems
  • Ability to work independently and balance multiple responsibilities simultaneously
  • Ability to facilitate cross-functional collaboration and communications
  • Proficient verbal and written communication skills
  • Ability to lead work initiatives with cross-functional coordination with stakeholders
  • Strong analytical skills with the ability to collect organize analyze and disseminate significant amounts of information with attention to detail and accuracy
  • Proven strong interpersonal skills and the ability to work well with partners at all levels of the organization

Wage Transparency

Pay for this position is based on a number of factors including geographic location and may vary depending on job-related knowledge skills and experience.

Based on applicable legislation the below details pay ranges in the following locations:

California: $X/hour - $X/hour or $X - $X base salary

Illinois Colorado Massachusetts and Minnesota: $X/hour - $X/hour or $X - $X base salary

Washington Maryland New Jersey and New York (including NYC metro area): $X/hour - $X/hour or $X - $X base salary

Washington DC: $X/hour - $X/hour or $X - $X base salary

Ohio: $X/hour - $X/hour or $X - $X base salary

This role is also eligible for the following:

  • Bonus: Sales personnel are eligible for variable incentive pay dependent on their achievement of pre-established sales goals. Non-Sales roles are eligible for a company bonus plan which is calculated as a percentage of eligible wages and dependent on company performance.
  • Stock: This role is eligible to receive Restricted Stock Units (RSUs).
