Job Summary:

• We are seeking an experienced and highly skilled Techno-Functional Analyst to join our dynamic team. This individual will play a critical role in guiding our technology team in building a cutting-edge PnL IP Valuation Reconciliation and Exception Adjustment tool.
• The ideal candidate will possess a strong understanding of financial products valuation methodologies and basic accounting standards ensuring that our solutions align with business objectives and industry best practices.

Key Responsibilities:

• Collaborate closely with the technology team to design develop and implement the PnL IPV Recon and Exception Adjustment tool.
• Serve as a bridge between business and technology teams translating business requirements into technical specifications.
• Guide the development team in understanding complex financial concepts and ensuring accurate implementation.
• Conduct thorough analysis and validation of financial data to support tool functionality and ensure reliability.
• Provide insights and recommendations on valuation methodologies and accounting standards to enhance tool effectiveness.
• Lead workshops and meetings to gather requirements provide updates and align on project goals.
• Identify and address any discrepancies or exceptions in financial data implementing corrective measures as needed.
• Stay updated on industry trends and emerging technologies to continuously improve tool capabilities.

Required Qualifications:

• Must be onsite at client in Charlotte NC or Jersey City NJ at least 3 days/week.
• Minimum of 5 years of experience in a techno-functional role preferably in the financial services industry.
• Minimum of 5 years of experience with financial products including derivatives equities fixed income and other asset classes.
• Minimum of 5 years of experience with valuation methodologies and basic accounting standards.
• Proven experience in guiding technology teams to develop financial tools or systems.
• Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills with a keen attention to detail.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills capable of effectively liaising with cross-functional teams.
• Ability to work independently and manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.
• Proficiency in relevant software and tools such as Excel SQL or similar analytical applications.
