About the role
We are seeking a Strategy Analyst to support execution of the ABCs corporate strategy. This newly created role sits within the Strategy Execution team and plays a key role in connecting strategy performance and decision-making across the organisation.
Working closely with senior leaders you will help translate strategic priorities into clear reporting insights and outcomes. The role is ideal for someone who enjoys combining strong analytical capability with practical problem-solving and stakeholder collaboration.
Key Accountabilities
- Prepare the Managing Directors Report for Board meetings coordinating inputs from stakeholders
- Support strategy execution through business planning and outcomes reporting
- Contribute to the Annual Performance Statements reporting performance against the Corporate Plan
- Conduct research on audience market and industry trends
- Apply advanced analytics to produce robust analysis and actionable insights
- Support strategy development advisory work and project delivery including senior presentations (e.g. Board Strategy Day)
- Work collaboratively with stakeholders across functions and levels
About You
You are an analytical and curious thinker who enjoys working with data structure and insight to inform strategic decision-making. You bring strong technical capability learn quickly in new environments and thrive in roles that require collaboration and adaptability.
You will bring:
- Experience in consulting in-house strategy or transformation roles
- Strong data and analytical skills with exceptional attention to detail
- Strong problem-solving and stakeholder engagement skills
- Excellent written communication skills including exposure to senior or Board-level reporting
- Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel PowerPoint and Word with experience in data visualisation tools desirable (e.g. Power BI Tableau)
- A relevant tertiary qualification (e.g. business commerce analytics)
