Community Health Assistant Director Of Nursing

Education: A Masters degree in nursing or a related field from an accredited college or university.

Experience: Three years of experience as a Community Health Nurse in an administrative supervisory consultative or teaching capacity or two years of experience as a Community Health Nurse and two years of experience in an administrative supervisory consultative or teaching capacity as a Registered Nurse.

Notes:

1. Candidates may substitute a Bachelors degree in nursing or a related field and four years of experience as a Community Health Nurse in an administrative supervisory consultative or teaching capacity for the required education and experience.

2. Candidates may substitute U.S. Armed Forces military service experience at a rank of Corporal/Petty Officer or higher as acommissioned officer inNursing classifications or Nursing andHospital Administration specialty codes in the nursing field ofwork on a year-for-year basis for the required experience andeducation.

1. Employees in this classification must possess a current license as a Registered Nurse from the Maryland State Board of Nursing 4201 Patterson Avenue Baltimore Maryland 21215.

2. Employeesin this classification may be assigned duties which require the operation of an automobile. Employees assigned such duties may be required to possess a motor vehicle operators license valid in the State of Maryland and their driving records will be subject to investigation.

1. Employees in some positions in this classification are assigned duties which will requireexamination by a physician. After an offer of employment applicants for such positions will be given a medical examination to certify the ability to perform essential job functions.

2. Employeesin this classification may be required to provide the facility with a telephone number at which they can be reached.
