Who We Want
The Senior Events & Engagement Manager leads Arrives highest-impact internal and external engagement programs including Presidents Club annual Shipper and Carrier customer conferences regional events and major cultural initiatives. This role is responsible for designing executing and optimizing events and engagement strategies that strengthen employee culture drive sales performance and elevate Arrives brand. The ideal candidate is a strategic leader with deep corporate event experience strong financial ownership and a proven ability to manage large-scale programs with measurable ROI.
What Youll Do
Presidents Club
- Lead strategy and execution of the annual Presidents Club including vendor selection logistics attendee communications and full budget ownership.
- Deliver a high-impact memorable experience that drives retention builds internal buzz and program value.
Manager Engagement
- Optimize the Manager Engagement Program to maximize budget utilization and simplify backend systems.
- Partner with other marketing stakeholders to deploy automated and manual communications that drive participation recognize top managers and share best practices.
Culture & Office Engagement
- Partner with Facilities HR Sales and the Experience team on all in-office events and culture programs.
- Lead strategy and execution for anniversary celebrations and the companywide holiday party owning logistics budget and communications.
- Oversee experiential elements of key sales contests (Fantasy Freight March Madness) incorporating tailgates merch and other engagement elements.
- Continuously audit and improve program effectiveness using employee input.
Regional Events Pursuit and Customer Entertainment
- Build and execute a scalable events program with a 7 figure budget informed by ROI data and revenue opportunity.
- Lead planning and execution of annual Shipper and Carrier Pursuit events showcasing Arrives capabilities and maximizing guest value and ROI.
- Manage related communications swag needs and executive support for the customer ticket program including resell coordination.
- Support smaller-scale carrier engagement programs.
Conferences & Sponsorships
- Execute the annual conference and sponsorship strategy ensuring strategic attendance sponsorship investment and scalable pre/during/post-conference systems.
- Partner with Executive Sponsors and Account Planning to set investment levels and track spend.
Team Leadership
- Manage and mentor a team of Event and Engagement Specialists and leaders.
- Establish processes and best practices that improve efficiency quality and consistency across all programs.
Arrive Apparel & Merch
- Audit and refine Arrive Apparel branding merchandising and procurement strategy.
- Drive high inventory turnover and develop a companywide swag style guide to standardize quality and brand consistency.
Qualifications
- Bachelors degree
- 7 years of corporate event and engagement experience
- Proven experience managing $2M in annual program spend with strong financial rigor and ROI tracking.
- Experience leading direct reports and managing multiple high-stakes programs simultaneously.
- Strong communication vendor management problem-solving and organizational skills.
- Creative thinker with the ability to develop scalable on-brand experiences.
Supervisory Responsibility
- This position manages a team of Event and Engagement Specialists and leaders and will lead contractors or vendors as needed.
