Your Opportunity

The Scion Group is looking for an analytically inclined individual to add value to the Revenue Management team. This position will focus on evaluating market conditions and competitive dynamics of our properties to help guide commercial planning.

Scions internship program provides a unique opportunity for ambitious college students to learn contribute and gain real world work experience in a collaborative environment. Interns have the chance to learn more about Scions culture and business while developing practical skills necessary post-graduation. The 10-week program includes 1-on-1 guidance and timely feedback development opportunities for soft skills and technical skills spotlightson various functions outside of your team mentorship relationships with company leaders and networking opportunities with colleagues. The program equips interns with an understanding of working in a professional environment dedicated to providing colleagues and communities with optimal support expertise and experience.

At the end of your internship you will have obtained the following experience:

• An understanding of Scions business and how the Revenue Management function supports the business.
• Basic knowledge of Scions internal technology and systems including our proprietary business intelligence system.
• Experience in industry best practices for evaluating market conditions and applying learning to form business strategies
• Experience presenting the identification of obstacles and solutions implementation and results to varying audiences.
• How to effectively work with others and development of interpersonal relationships.
• Networking and collaborating with peers Scion colleagues and executive leadership.

Requirements:

• A desire and eagerness to learn and grow.
• Must be at least 18 years of age.
• Current student or recent graduate from an undergraduate or masters program with coursework in analytics business information systems economics or a related field.
• Must be willing to work full-time for the full 10-week term of the program beginning June 9 2025.
• Aptitude in developing proficient technology skills with Microsoft Office Suite basic querying languages and data visualization tools.
• Unrestricted U.S. work authorization is required. We do not offer sponsorship for this position.

• All positions require pre-employment background check verification and a pre-employment drug screen.

Position Responsibilities:

• Support collection normalization and summary of market information.
• Contribute to development of models that project supply and demand dynamics of markets.
• Produce strategic recommendations for each business unit in partnership with analytics leader.
• Support ad hoc projects as needed.

Additional Details:

• Job location is based at Scions Chicago corporate headquarters where you will be exposed to on-the-fly learning opportunities.
• Full-time hours; 10-week program.
• Working hours are typically 8:30 am 5:30 pm.
