Job Summary

Overview:


The intern will assist with tasks ad-hoc requests and be actively involved with unit or organization-wide projects. The intern will manage projects oversee distribution edit materials and support the teams initiatives. This position has a flexible schedule at managers discretion and will be part-time 10-20 hours per week.

  • Rising junior/senior actively pursuing degree in marketing communications integrated marketing public relations or English preferred.

  • Ability to meet deadlines & continually monitor project progress & results with autonomy

Valid Ohio drivers license and proof of auto insurance is required by hospital policy. Must pass a motor vehicle background inspection insurance eligibility driving qualifications and training set forth by Nationwide Childrens Hospital and must maintain qualification of insurance guidelines.

Assists in the development and implementation of programs and projects to support the organizations strategic initiatives.

Essential Functions:

  • Gathers and analyzes data. Runs pre-defined queries and formats reports as appropriate.
  • Compiles and builds presentation materials to support projects showcases new initiatives reports data findings or other related information.
  • Attends weekly group development sessions and actively participates in all NCH intern events.
  • Applies strategic system-level thinking and operational excellence techniques for problem solving.
  • Performs some clerical office coordination and administrative tasks as needed.
  • Collaborates directly with manager and provides recommendations to improve department or business unit.

Education Requirement:

Enrollment in High School or an accredited undergraduate graduate or doctorate program preferred.

  • Proficiencyin MS Office.
  • Effective written and oral communication skills.
