About the Role:

We are seeking a dynamic and analytical Pricing System Analyst to join Wileys Global Pricing & Strategy team. The successful candidate will be responsible for developing and implementing pricing strategies that maximize revenue and profitability while growing Wileys market share. We are seeking a detail-oriented and analytical Pricing Analyst to join our team. The successful candidate will be responsible for analyzing market trends developing pricing strategies and ensuring competitive pricing for our products and services.

The Global Pricing and Strategy team is contained within Wileys Revenue Strategy and Operations team which oversees the execution and implementation of revenue growth initiatives and operational efficiency across Wileys sales organizations. The team is responsible for supporting pricing activities for annual sales exceeding $1 billion.

How you will make an impact:

• Develop and execute pricing strategies to achieve business objectives and maximize profitability

• Conduct market research and competitive analysis to identify pricing opportunities and trends

• Collaborate with cross-functional teams including sales product marketing and finance to align pricing strategies with overall business goals

• Monitor and analyze pricing performance and make data-driven recommendations for adjustments

• Develop pricing models and tools to support decision-making processes.

• Provide insights and recommendations to senior management on pricing strategies and initiatives

• Stay up to date with industry trends and best practices in pricing strategy

What we look for:

• Bachelors degree in business Economics Marketing or a related field.

• Strong analytical skills and proficiency in data analysis tools

• Excellent communication and presentation skills

• Ability to work collaboratively in a fast-paced dynamic environment

• Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail

• Strong written and verbal communication skills including the ability to tell a compelling story with data efficiently summarize analysis and prepare presentation materials for executive leaders

• Outstanding analytical skills with the ability to develop business insights from large data sets using tools like Excel Power BI SQL

• Initiative the ability to multitask and contribute to special projects as they arise

• Flexibility adaptability and the ability to be forward-thinking

• High degree of achievement drive and interest in helping to drive strategic initiatives and change across an organization

• Understanding of the publishing industry is a plus but not required

It is anticipated that most qualified candidates will fall within the range however the ultimate salary offered for this role may be higher or lower and will be set based on a variety of non-discriminatory factors including but not limited to geographic location skills and competencies.
