Full Stack Developer Mid-Level (IRS Treasury)

Position Overview

Praescient Analytics is seeking a Mid-Level Full Stack Developer to support the development and sustainment of enterprise applications and APIs for an IRS modernization program. This role works closely with senior engineers and cross-functional teams to deliver secure scalable solutions supporting mission-critical systems. This position requires U.S. citizenship. The role will be hybrid with work locations in Washington DC or Lanham MD.

Key Responsibilities

• Develop and maintain frontend and backend components for enterprise applications
• Build test and consume RESTful and GraphQL APIs
• Assist in designing scalable and maintainable application architectures
• Implement authentication data access and integration logic
• Participate in agile development ceremonies code reviews and documentation
• Support CI/CD pipelines and cloud-based application deployments

Required Qualifications

• 5 years of full-stack development experience
• Proficiency with frontend frameworks such as React Angular or Vue
• Backend development experience with Python Java Spark or similar technologies
• Strong HTML CSS and JavaScript skills
• Experience with relational and non-relational databases
• Familiarity with cloud platforms (AWS Azure or GCP)
• US Citizenship and the ability to undergo an IRS Minimum Background Investigation (MBI).

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience with Docker and Kubernetes
• Exposure to DevOps tools and automated testing frameworks
• Interest in microservices performance tuning or application security
