Role Definition:
Roles at this level are responsible for coordinating planning and managing the implementation of environmental health and safety programs to prevent incidents or health impairment and to ensure environmental protection
Key Responsibility:
Implementation of HSE operations
-Monitors and reviews performance against HS&E KPIs and patterns of behavior within the area of responsibility.
-Takes action to improve performance and to resolve non-compliance with the organizations HS&E policies procedures and mandatory instructions.
-Implements the HSE procedures as per policy regulations and monitors the performance to achieve specified outputs
-Supporting external audits by certification body
-Maintains relationships with industry coalitions and governmental regulatory agencies
-Coordinates the actions of several departments necessary to resolve a EH &S concern/incident.
-Identifies existing and potential EH&S problems and recommends corrective actions.
-Manages the PPE for all employees
-Reports all HSE parameters in global tool for all LEI controlled sites
-Organize events and celebrations related to HSE in organization for all employees
Compliance
-Implements maintains and improves EH&S programs systems and tools to support compliance
-Reviews and evaluates existing procedures to ensure compliance and implements systems and tools to support compliance systems.
-Managing HSE legal compliance (local)
-Managing vendor HSE audits
Training & Development
-Develops and presents technical materials for employee training
-Identifies and performs required HSE training for the site
-Increases awareness and compliance with health & safety policies and regulations through value-added coaching advice and support
-Should be certified Lead Auditor in ISO45001
-Leading a team of 1-2 members

Education Experience:
Bachelors degree in engineering discipline or Graduate in Science
Preferable if he/she has NEBOSH Diploma or Masters or PG Diploma in Industrial safety /OHS approved by UGC
12 years of total experience with 5 years of experience HSE preferably with large EPC organizations
Certified Lead Auditor in ISO 14001 and 45001
