About the Role:
This role is central to the commercial success of our product range. You will be responsible for:

  • Product Development: Building commercially successful ranges through strong supplier relationships data analysis and seamless collaboration with design technology and merchandising teams.
  • Critical Path Management: Overseeing the product development and selection critical path while proactively identifying and seizing new product opportunities.
  • Online Performance: Partnering with the e-commerce team to optimise online sales and conversion through expert use of tone of voice imagery and other digital tools.
  • Marketing & Shoots: Liaising with the Marketing team to coordinate campaign and e-commerce shoots ensuring alignment with department budgets.
  • Team Leadership: Ensuring overall success through effective team management resource delegation and motivation.

With our online business constantly growing Total Platform continuing to strengthen and our retail stores remaining distinguished for our customer base our buyers have a big responsibility to create attractive and profitable product ranges across the business. They collaborate with our Designers Merchandisers and Technologists to put together stylish new collections for every season.

Join the dynamic and rapidly expanding Womens Nightwear & Loungewear Team. This is your chance to step onto a platform of success alongside passionate industry experts. As a highly motivated Assistant Buyer youll be integral to nurturing this fast-paced departments growth. Your core mission will be to expand market share by staying ahead of trends and seizing commercial product opportunities. Youll be hands-on in everything from sourcing and developing new fabrics and building key supplier relationships to expert range building product buying order progression and driving innovative photoshoot concepts. This exciting role is based at our Enderby office in Leicester.

About You:
The role requires the ability to manage a large option count effectively and have a clear understanding of the critical path.. You should have experience with analytical and planning skills. You should be able to easily identify the latest trends for this category and have a comprehensive understanding of the market competition.

An in-depth knowledge of our industry is essential. A proven track record in identifying opportunities to streamline the critical path and trade ranges in-season is crucial. Excellent communication skills both written and verbal are necessary for effective collaboration. An enthusiastic attitude and a team-player mindset are valued attributes in this role.
