Surgical Technician (Part-Time)

Schedule: Weekdays only No weekends no holidays
Location: Ambulatory Surgery Center

Position Summary

We are seeking a skilled and motivated Surgical Technologist to join our fast-paced patient-focused ambulatory surgery center. The Surgical Technologist will assist surgeons and the perioperative team by preparing the operating room maintaining a sterile field and ensuring safe efficient surgical procedures.

Key Responsibilities

• Prepare operating rooms by setting up instruments supplies and equipment

• Maintain sterile technique and ensure aseptic conditions throughout procedures

• Anticipate surgeon needs and pass instruments efficiently

• Assist with patient positioning prepping and draping

• Perform surgical counts and ensure proper specimen handling

• Clean and turnover rooms between cases in a timely manner

• Collaborate with surgeons anesthesia nursing and sterile processing teams

• Adhere to all safety infection control and regulatory standards (AAAHC CMS etc.)

Qualifications

• Graduate of an accredited Surgical Technology program

• Current BLS certification

• ASC or hospital OR experience preferred

• Strong attention to detail and ability to work efficiently in a team environment
