ATCO Frontec is seeking an Apprentice Plumberto join our ATCO Facilities Solutions team in Edmonton AB working on a project with several properties across the Edmonton area.

The Apprentice Plumber is responsible for preventative and corrective maintenance inspections modifications and installation/dismantling of plumbing systems. The successful candidate must be willing to work after hours and on weekends as required. Tools uniforms PPE work cellphone and a company vehicle will be provided for work duties.

Responsibilities:

Conduct timely inspections testing and accurate reporting of equipment defects and deficiencies
Replace toilets bathroom and kitchen sinks and bathtubs
Utilize power auger for toilet bathtub and main lines
Replace hot water tanks and furnaces (40000 & 60000 BTU)
Ensure all installations repairs and maintenance are properly sized aligned supported and graded
Guarantee all installations repairs and maintenance meet the requirements of the appropriate codes as well as environmental protection requirements

Qualifications:

Registered Plumber Apprenticeship is preferred
Class 5 license and clean drivers abstract is required
Must be able to pass a Drug & Alcohol Test Fit-to-Work Test and Extensive Background Check.
Must be able to obtain Government Security Clearance.
Strong verbal and written communication skills
Able to read drawings and blueprints
Ability to build and work in a team environment is crucial along with a strong commitment to personal and team safety
