Job Summary

Public Sector Sales Support Specialist (37 hours per week Permanent)


Location: Hybrid working with Durham or Peterborough as base

Salary: Starting at 25733 plus a discretionary bonus potential of up to 8% of annual salary

Job Level: D

Reporting to: Public Sector Growth & Retention Manager

THE ROLE IN A NUTSHELL

The Public Sector Sales Support Specialist role is about supporting the growth and retention of Public Sector customers by assisting with new business development and customer management activities. Its an entry-level position into a sales career offering training and exposure. The role combines sales support customer service and administrative responsibilities with a strong focus on learning public procurement sales strategy negotiation and stakeholder management for future progression.


WHAT WILL YOUR TYPICAL DAY LOOK LIKE

  • Coordinate with internal teams: Work with the Marketing team to assist in campaign data the Onboarding team to promote a right first-time approach for our customer journey and the Pricing team for quotes.
  • Generate reports: Update dashboards identify customer renewals track KPIs and highlight any discrepancies.
  • Process improvements: Identify inefficiencies in sales processes and suggest improvements.
  • Participate in coaching or training sessions for personal development.
