We are seeking highly skilled and dependable GSOC Operators to join and lead our operations team in Sunnyvale. This role is critical in ensuring the safety continuity and security of client assets and personnel through real-time monitoring and rapid incident response. This role is essential in ensuring the safety and security of employees assets and facilities worldwide.

The ideal candidate will have experience in GSOC operations system administration (specifically with Genetec) access control systems as well as threat and intelligence addition they must possess excellent communication skills a proactive approach to problem-solving and the ability to manage a variety of security functions in a fast-paced and dynamic environment.

GSOC Operator - (Corporate Security)

Location: Sunnyvale CA (Onsite)
Pay Rate: $30-35/hour
Schedule: Full-Time Part-Time 8-hour shifts 24/7 Coverage (AM SW and GV Shifts Available)

Position Overview

As a GSOC Operator you will serve as a vital part of the Surefox Global Security Operations Center (GSOC) handling incident monitoring staffing access control oversight intelligence gathering and internal security communication. You will play a key role in identifying assessing and responding to security risks and operational issues in a fast-paced high-responsibility environment.

Key Responsibilities

Monitoring & Incident Response

Monitor CCTV access control alarm systems and other security platforms across global and local sites.
Respond to alarms dispatch response teams and coordinate with internal and external emergency services.
Conduct incident triage and reporting escalating when appropriate and documenting all activities.
Maintain situational awareness of global events and assess potential threats to operations.

System Administration & Access Control

Administer Genetec or equivalent access control systems including badge issuance and deactivation.
Troubleshoot system issues and coordinate with vendors or integrators for resolution.
Conduct regular access audits and assist in system optimization and configuration.

Threat Intelligence & Communication

Monitor and analyze open-source intelligence and internal reports for security threats.
Compile and deliver daily weekly and monthly incident and security reports.
Collaborate with first responders local law enforcement and internal stakeholders during incidents.
Draft and send emergency alerts and advisories when appropriate.

Operational Support

Assist with scheduling timekeeping guard check-ins and remote oversight.
Generate reports related to coverage KPIs and staffing metrics.
Support administrative duties for shift logs training compliance audits and documentation.
Contribute to continuous improvement efforts including lessons learned and crisis after-action reports

Qualifications

Required

Must be legally authorized to work in the United States.
Must pass a background check.
High school diploma or equivalent; Associates degree preferred.
25 years of experience in GSOC operations security systems or law enforcement/military roles.
Availability to work any assigned shift including holidays and weekends.
Strong communication skills and ability to remain calm during emergencies.
Familiarity with access control and CCTV platforms (e.g. Genetec Lenel).
Intermediate proficiency in Microsoft Office and Google Workspace.
Reliable transportation and willingness to remain onsite during critical events.

Preferred

Genetec or other CCTV monitoring administrator experience.
Experience working in or with a GSOC.
Background in threat intelligence or emergency/crisis response.
Relevant certifications (e.g. Genetec security management).
Military veteran or first responder background.

Compensation & Benefits

Hourly Rate: $30/hour Overtime as applicable.
Starting at $30hr.
After 90 days $31.87
After 1 year $33.54
After 2 years $35.00
Eligible for Holiday Bonus pay if covered shifts are scheduled and actually worked on Surefox recognized holidays
