The Associate Web Merchant supports the management and optimization of online product assortments to drive sales improve customer experience and support merchandising strategies. This role focuses on maintaining accurate product content pricing promotions and inventory visibility across e-commerce platforms. The ideal candidate is detail-oriented analytical and able to collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams in a remote environment.
Key Responsibilities
Assist in managing online product assortments categories and collections
Create update and maintain accurate product listings descriptions images and attributes
Support pricing updates promotions and merchandising campaigns
Monitor inventory levels and product availability to prevent stock issues
Analyze product performance sales trends and customer behavior
Support site merchandising initiatives including product placement and navigation
Coordinate with marketing supply chain and operations teams to execute merchandising plans
Identify and resolve product content errors or site issues
Ensure consistency with brand guidelines and merchandising standards
Prepare reports and dashboards related to product performance and merchandising metrics
Qualifications
Bachelors degree in Business Marketing Merchandising or equivalent experience preferred
13 years of experience in e-commerce digital merchandising or online retail
Strong attention to detail and organizational skills
Basic understanding of e-commerce platforms and content management systems
Proficiency in Microsoft Office or Google Workspace
Analytical mindset with the ability to interpret sales and performance data
Ability to work independently and meet deadlines in a remote environment
Preferred Skills
Experience with e-commerce platforms such as Shopify Magento Salesforce Commerce Cloud or similar
Familiarity with web analytics tools (e.g. Google Analytics)
Understanding of SEO best practices for product content
Experience working in a remote or distributed team
