About the People Inc. Summer Internship Program:

The People Inc. Summer Internship Program is a 9-week full time paid program that runs from June 9th - August 8th based out of our New York office. The intern program consists of hands-on learning opportunities to create work that has an impact on the business along with workshops in preparing you for post-college life (resume / interviewing) plus fun events throughout the summer!

Eligibility Requirements:

  • Internships are available to current Sophomores Juniors and Seniors at an accredited college or university

  • You must be available to work full time for the entire 9 weeks of the program in the NY office 3 days a week

  • You must have access to your own housing and transportation to/from the NY office

About the Team:

The Programmatic Revenue Marketing team supports the exciting and rapidly developing Programmatic and Retail Media Sales organizations of People Inc. by developing go-to-market materials such as sales collateral and responses to requests for proposals (RFPs).

About the Role:

As a member of the Programmatic team the intern will be in a unique position to interact with all advertising categories and Advertising Operations teams across the this role the intern will support the Programmatic Revenue Marketing team in developing marketing materials that span concept creation through final execution. They will assist in crafting go-to-market assets sales collateral and proposal submissions gaining exposure to the advertising sales process as well as the ad-tech data and AI capabilities that underpin our advertising solutions. The intern will also contribute to a cross-category keystone project that demonstrates their ability to translate business needs into effective marketing outputs.

Internship Responsibilities will Include:

  • Contribute to a cross-category keystone project that can be included in the interns professional portfolio.

  • Support the creation of marketing materials from initial concept through final execution and assist with sales development activities such as brainstorms and proposal submissions.

  • Assist team with design and distribution of sales collateral.

  • Maintain current library of sales materials across Programmatic and Retail Media ensuring currency and accuracy.

  • Engage in structured interactions with teams across the organization to gain broader context on workflows and career pathways.

  • Keep abreast of marketplace trends and audience insights to help inform program creation and to help support the People Inc. brand story.

About You:

Candidates for this role should have:

  • Marketing or Business major not required but preferred

  • Excellent communication time management and organizational skills.

  • Open to new challenges and excited to grow within a fast-paced expanding and constantly evolving organization

  • Creative and driven self-starter that can take direction and run with it asking questions up front to ensure youre able to complete the task successfully

  • Motivated problem solver who will proactively troubleshoot and create solution

  • Experience with Google & Microsoft Suites

  • Some experience with digital media is a plus but not required

Hourly: New York: $20.00 - $20.00

The pay range above represents the anticipated low and high end of the pay range for this position and may change in the future. Actual pay may vary and may be above or below the range based on various factors including but not limited to work location experience and performance.
