Your impact
The DACH region is a massive growth engine for Mollie and as a Senior Partner Manager you are at the heart of it. We are on a mission to become the most-loved payment service provider in Germany Austria and Switzerland. By identifying and winning the right ecosystem partnersSaaS platforms ERPs and Agenciesyou directly unlock new revenue streams and ensure Mollie is the go-to solution for thousands of regional businesses.
You wont just be managing accounts; youll be hunting and building. This role is for someone who thrives on the thrill of the newfinding high-potential partners negotiating complex deals and activating them to drive real merchant volume. Youll be the face of Mollie in the DACH ecosystem representing a brand that is confident reliable and built for growth.
What youll ship
Identifying and establishing partnerships with agencies using various methods including outbound sales personal network social selling and participating in events.
Nurturing a portfolio of agency partnerships throughout their whole lifecycle; from pitching and demonstrating the value of Mollie to building high-value relationships over multiple touch-points with various stakeholders.
Applying your Partner Sales skills to unlock the maximum potential of the partnership helping agencies grow and generate high-quality leads through a variety of activities - for example:
Using strong relationship management and best practices (e.g. launch plans QBRs etc.)
Ideating launching and optimising co-marketing activities (e.g. webinars white-papers panel participation etc.)
Leveraging the wider Mollie organisation (including stakeholders from Product and Solution Engineers) to provide specialist support & expertise
Acting as the main point of contact for Mollie within the DACH agency community showcasing your expertise in our product by using consultative sales strategies.
Transforming agencies into advocates for the Mollie brand encouraging them to recommend Mollie to their clients and wider e-commerce networks.
What youll bring
At least 5 years of professional experience in a sales focussed partnerships role in the technology industry (preferably in the areas of e-commerce or payments).
A strong interest in e-commerce or payments with an enthusiasm for developing meaningful partnerships creating commercial opportunities and are well-connected within the industry.
Independent entrepreneurial and able to adapt to a fast-paced environment with a proven track record of achieving and surpassing sales targets (closing managing and enabling new and existing partners to refer merchants successfully).
Exceptional presentation communication and negotiation skills including public speaking.
A collaborative team player with experience working with different commercial teams to drive channel growth and success.
A high sense of personal responsibility and the initiative to establish and promote partnerships while representing Mollie as a brand in the DACH market.
A willingness to travel up 30% of your yearly working time including visiting partners and also to Mollies HQ in Amsterdam as well as the willingness to participate in trade fairs and events.
Fluent in German with excellent communication and presentation skills. Comfortable interacting in English (required). Please do not apply if you are not fluent in German.
