Minnesota State College Southeast seeks aBiomedical Equipment Technology Instructor in our program dedicated to excellence in teaching who desires to become part of a creative vibrant student-centered learning successful candidate will demonstrate a commitment to interdisciplinary and members at Minnesota State College Southeast are professionally active scholars who participate in departmental and campus-wide activities to enhance their disciplines promote interdisciplinary discourse and collaboration and advance the college mission. The instructor may earn unlimited status upon completion of six successful probationary semesters.
Salary Range:
$49244.00 - $94542.00
Minimum Qualifications
Education Requirement
- Associate degree in electronics technology.
Occupational Experience Requirement
- Four full-time years (or equivalent) of verified related paid work experience in electronics technology.
Recency Requirement
One year of this work experience shall be within the five years immediately preceding the date of application for the credential field. The recency requirement shall be waived if the individual has two years of successful full-time (or equivalent) postsecondary teaching experience in the credential field within the last five years.
Teaching and Learning Competency Requirement
Must meet the Teaching and Learning Competency Requirement prior to the end of probation. Click on the link for additional information Qualification
- Associate Degree (or higher) in Biomedical Equipment Technology Instrument Technology or related field.
- Extensive experience in diagnosing troubleshooting and repairing electrical biomedical equipment.
- Soldering experience.
- Computer networking hardware and software experience.
- Previous teaching or mentoring experience
Work Shift
Monday-Friday (may include day evening and weekend hours)
