Description

Connelly School of the Holy Child is seeking a qualified Part Time Dance Teacher to instruct three levels of dance classes for Grades 9-12 invarious stylesand techniques through the end of May withpossibilityof extended employment.

Key Responsibilities:

Instruction

Teach diverse dance styles (beginner through advanced levels)

Implement and adapt existing curriculum to meet student needs

Differentiate instruction for varied learning styles and abilities

Choreography & Performance

Choreograph and rehearse students for annual Dance Concert assemblies andspecial events

Provide creative leadership in choreography and production design

Student Development

Monitor student progress and provide constructive feedback

Foster intellectual physical social and emotional development

Create a supportive engaging learning environment

Communication & Collaboration

Maintain regular communication with students parents faculty and administrators

Coordinate with Director of Visual and Performing Arts

Collaborate with colleagues on productions and performances

Support Holy Childs mission and values

Foster culturally responsive inclusive classroom environment

Follow all school policies and safety protocols

Requirements

Bachelors degree in Dance(or equivalent)

Dance teaching experience in classroomsettings

Strong communication interpersonal and classroom management skills

Creative dependable and professional approach

Commitment to student safety and proper technique

Knowledge of multiple dance styles
