The opportunity

We are seeking a highly skilled and dynamic individual to join Hitachi Ltd. as an IT Product Owner / Solution Architect. This role is pivotal in bridging the gap between business needs and technical solutions driving the strategic vision and successful delivery of innovative IT products and services within Hitachis diverse portfolio.

How you will make an impact:

Define and communicate the product vision strategy and roadmap in alignment with Hitachis business objectives and technological advancements.
Elicit analyze prioritize and document detailed business and functional requirements from stakeholders translating them into actionable user stories and acceptance criteria.
Design comprehensive and scalable technical solutions including architectural blueprints system integrations data models and infrastructure considerations ensuring alignment with enterprise architecture standards.
Act as the primary liaison between business units development teams UX/UI designers and other IT departments to ensure a shared understanding of product goals and technical constraints.
Own and prioritize the product backlog facilitating sprint planning daily stand-ups and sprint reviews and ensuring continuous delivery of value.
Provide technical guidance and mentorship to development teams ensuring best practices in software development security and performance are adhered to.
Stay abreast of industry trends emerging technologies and competitor offerings to identify opportunities for product innovation and differentiation.
Identify and mitigate technical and product-related risks proactively addressing potential issues to ensure project success.
Define key performance indicators (KPIs) for products and solutions monitor performance and drive continuous improvement initiatives.
Collaborate with external vendors and partners for solution delivery and integration ensuring alignment with Hitachis standards.

Your background:

Bachelors or Masters degree in Computer Science Information Technology Engineering or a related field.
Minimum of 7-10 years of experience in IT with a strong background in software development system architecture or product management roles.
Proven experience as a Product Owner or Business Analyst in an Agile/Scrum environment. Demonstrable experience as a Solution Architect designing and implementing complex IT solutions.
Solid understanding of various architectural patterns (e.g. microservices event-driven) cloud platforms (AWS Azure GCP) and API design principles. Proficiency in modern software development methodologies (e.g. Agile DevOps). Experience with various databases (relational NoSQL) and data integration techniques.
Exceptional communication presentation and interpersonal skills with the ability to articulate complex technical concepts to non-technical stakeholders.
Ability to manage multiple priorities and work effectively in a fast-paced dynamic environment.
Certified Scrum Product Owner (CSPO) or Professional Scrum Product Owner (PSPO) as a plus.
TOGAF AWS Certified Solutions Architect Azure Solutions Architect Expert or similar architectural certifications as a plus.
