What youll do
Deal Execution and Support
You will act as the primary liaison for investments and otherfunctional teams forprivate deal execution-related requirementsdemonstratingstrongcollaboration strategic solutioningand communication skills
The position provides leadership in thedeal execution process and actsas a primary point of contact forall issue resolutions.You will lead projects and meetings in relation to incident management ensuringeffectiveresolution
Approximately one-third to a half of your time will be spentexecuting private deals for all investment groups
Serve as the primary point of contact for investments and private deal execution-related requirements
Ensure appropriatesign-offsand operational setups are in place.
Review and understand all relevant transaction execution related documents todetermineand recommend structuring funding process accountingtreatmentand servicing of the new investment.Act as the subject matter expert for the complete deal execution lifecycle for all internal and external purposes
Continue to enhance and further develop existingprocessesbycollaborating withother stakeholders andIT resources for quick implementation of tactical solutions to enhancethe deal execution experience
Deal Advisory& Structuring Influence
Partner closely with Legal and Tax functions toactas a trusted advisor in structuring discussionsleveragingdeep process knowledge to guide teams toward solutions that optimize for both deal-specific requirements and firm-wide consistency
Champion the adoption of standardized frameworks for structuring entity onboarding and reporting protocols positioning recommendations through the lens of risk mitigation operational efficiency and scalability
Balance the needs of the deal teams Finance function and broader firm when providing strategic recommendations
Set examples for the teamcarefully managing relationships with internal and external stakeholders
Acts as a catalyst for transformation collaboration new capabilitydevelopmentand information sharing acrosstheFinance Division
Act as aprimary point of contact for resolution of third-party issues. This includes design implementation and monitoring of KPIs and work with application support teams (both internal and external) to ensure issues are resolved and technologies areoptimizedto drive speed and agility related to third party investment management activities.
Data Management and Reporting
Ensure highest quality ismaintainedfordeal executionrelated data and metrics for enterprise-wide use
Createactionable insights through analyticsandrecommend actions based ontheseinsights
Performmonitoring of dashboards and delivertimelyaccuratereports and provide recommendations to ensure processes are continuously efficient and provideconsumervalue
Operationaloversight
Providedirection to the team and reviewtheir workto meet deadlines and quality standards
Serve as a thought leader and conduct business analysis to achieve quick resolution of complex strategic process and technological related issues
Provide oversight onday-to-day processes and technology changesto ensurethe quality and reliability of processes data andanalytics provided to the internal users

Furthermore the role involves administering and tracking many moving pieces and therefore requires advanced organizational skills anda high levelof job ownership. What youll need
CFA/CPA/CAIA all considered an asset
Relevant university degree (such as Business EconomicsMathematics Computer Science) or equivalent relevant experience.
Extensive experience in investment finance processesespecially as related to private alternative assets
Excellent analytical skills and the ability to think through problems and recommend solutions.
Strong quantitative and computer skills (Excel Data Visualization tools) including an understanding of database concepts.
Strong project managementand time management skills.
Excellent interpersonal and communication skills.
Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
10 years of related work experience in alternative investment operations.
Experience with data analysis and reporting.
Understanding of variousprivateinvestment structures anddeal mechanics.
Iscomfortable working withTechnology to enhance systems and processes
Ability to quickly grasp new concepts and work under pressure with time-sensitive deadlines.
