What you will do:
Responsible for client and family physical safety as well as the safeguarding of client assets
Develop relationships with clients facilitate collaboration and have the ability to influence informally across different departments within the team
Perform security patrols of designated areas on foot and/ or vehicle while monitoring access on occasion as needed
Watch for unusual activity and respond immediately and safely to emergency situations on-site on occasion as needed
Coordinate with emergency services and law enforcement agencies as necessary on occasion as needed
Observe departing personnel to protect against theft of company and/or client property on occasion as needed
Provide incident detection capabilities to the client as requested
Conducts ongoing threat risk and vulnerability assessments
Operates motor vehicles in a safe and legal manner on occasion as needed
Maintain up to date knowledge of local emergency services routes and points of interest within a given area of responsibility
Operate in a low-profile low-footprint capacity on occasion as needed
Physical security or overwatch of assigned clients on occasion as needed
Manage track and report program performance assurance and compliance requirements within the provided guidelines
Assist in managing the Executive Protection Program team schedule
Update and maintain the Executive Protection Program SOPs
Assist with managing the program vehicle fleet
Manage/monitor surveillance equipment and access points on occasion as needed
Maintain and update logs with any pertinent activity observed related to assigned client on occasion as needed
Prepare reports on accidents incidents and suspicious activities on occasion as needed
Provide assistance to employees and create a safe and friendly environment for visitors and clients in a professional manner on occasion as needed
Attend project meetings upon request to assess the security implications of proposed changes
Work independently and adapt to varying operational tempo while maintaining a high-level of situational awareness
Follow Executive Protection Operating Procedures and Guidelines
Comply with Surefox Policy and Procedures
What is required:
Must have a current California BSIS guard card or eligible to qualify for guard card
Must be eligible for employment within the United States
Must be a minimum of 18 years old per state licensing guidelines
Must be able to pass an extensive background check and drug screening (Surefox will consider for employment qualified applicants with criminal histories in a manner consistent with all requirements of State and local laws regulations or codes)
Must have at least 4 years of physical security experience
Must have a high school degree or equivalent
Must be willing to travel from remote/home location to the work location generally withinthe Bay Area for 20 day rotational periods
Must have a current BSIS guard card or eligible to qualify for guard card
Must have a high school degree or equivalent and meet one of the following criteria:
5 years of corporate and high net worth executive protection experience
2 years of security experience in a high threat environment
Demonstrated competence in reacting to and handling emergencies
Ability to effectively communicate with people at all levels and from various backgrounds
Good judgment with the ability to make timely and sound decisions
Ability to understand and follow written and verbal instructions
Ability to work independently and as a team member
All applicants must be able to pass the Surefox Physical Agility Test (SPAT) with or without reasonable accommodation prior to the scheduled start date
Please be aware that passing the physical agility test is a requirement for this position
The SPAT is a timed sequence of multiple physical events requiring you to progress along a predetermined path from event to event in a continuous manner until complete
CPR/First Aid/AED for all ages is required
Possess a valid and current driver license
Valid U.S. Passport
Ability to work nights weekends and holidays as required
Ability to work autonomously domestically and internationally
Demonstrate an operational understanding of todays technology across all platforms
Strong writing and interpersonal skills
Assist and take direction from the Executive Protection Operations Manager
Assist with counselings (quarterlies annuals positive/negative)
Strong knowledge of scheduling and national/international logistics
What is desired:
10 years of Security or law enforcement related experience preferred Military background is a plus
Report writing experience preferred
Experience working with families and children in a high net worth environment
Experience with international travel and experience in overseas protection assignments
Completion of relevant Executive Protection training courses prior experience in Executive Protection or a strong commitment to successfully completing an accredited Executive Protection training program
Anti-terrorism or high-threat driving course(s) attendance or experience
Proven leadership experience in security personnel management
