Job Summary

Help us get ahead of disease together with our Global Automation and Engineering Technical Services Internship 2026:

Education required: Undergraduate studying a Bachelors Degree from an accredited college/university preferably in Mechanical Engineering Pharmaceutical Engineering Materials Science and Engineering Chemical Engineering/Chemical & Biomolecular Engineering discipline.

Other requirements:Must be enrolled at a SG university for the duration of your internship and doing a credit-bearing internship.

Language requirement: Written and spoken fluency in English.

Internship period: July to December 2026

What will you do

Be part of aGlobalteam with diverse engineering specializations. Workalongside withmultidisciplinary professionalsfrom differentfieldofexpertiseand gain valuable insights to Automation and Engineering Technical Serviceswithin Global Engineering.

  • Gain in-depth knowledge on the GSK systems(QualityEngineeringand Validation).

  • Apply his/her knowledge of engineering andutilizesoft skills in engaging differentstake holdersto deliver assigned projects.

  • You will leadto drive improvement in standards and compliance across the GSK site network with respect to International and local regulation GSK recognized standards & industry best practices.

  • You will supportto developanddeliverstrategies forEngineeringProduct contact materials withinmanufacturingsupply chain of sites.

  • You willbe working on critical projects related to Environmental Regulatory compliance (such as PFAS) and Quality Regulatory compliance (Such as Extractable & Leachable).

  • Demonstrate creative mindset on designingsolutionsthrough academic researchand benchmarking industry best practicesto improve the Safety and Qualitycompliance.

  • Explore opportunities indigitalizationspace(MS Power Platform BI or other dashboarding tools)to enhanceoptimizationand visualization of business and process data.

  • You will leadresearchanddata analysisto support project decision-making.

  • You willassistin tracking project progress andidentifypotential risks and issues.

  • You willassistin preparing reports and presentations on project status and performance.

What will you learn

  • Gain exposure and understanding of the cGMP concepts andcompliancetoregulatory standards. Gives the candidate a hands-on experience in the capacity ofleading a GlobalEngineeringCompliance programin aleading biopharma company.

  • Acquireknowledge and application ofGood Engineering Practice (GEP)and good documentation practices (GDP).

  • Hands-on experience on Interface with regulatory and professional bodies on product contact/GMP materials engineering matters. Leadingdata analysis and interpretation of resultstoinfluence data-driven decision making.

  • Gain insight into theengineering change managementqualityassuranceand validation process in abio-pharmaceutical industry setting. Interact and collaborate with other business functions such asGlobal MSATProcurement Operational Engineering Capital Projectsand an appreciation of theequipments sparesand manufacturing process steps carried out in the manufacturing plant.

  • On-the-job learning will be provided with the opportunity to work alongsideprofessionals fromAutomation and Engineering Technical Services within Global Engineering.

  • Grow your soft skills relevant to industrial workforcesuch ascommunication skillsproblem solving&critical thinkingskillsLeadership &project managementsoft skills in engaging different stakeholders from shopfloor to senior management to deliver a project.
