Job Summary

As an Incident Expert in a dedicated team of consultants developers and other BI Incident Management experts our Business Intelligence Services team supports various customers in the further development and maintenance of their BI applications.

Together with your colleagues and the customer service team you are responsible for application support for the modern BI landscape of our major customers.

You are responsible for managing the entire service request process in compliance with service level agreements.

As an Incident or Problem Expert you pay particular attention to quality assurance error management and feedback management. You also manage the backlog and are responsible for testing and acceptance of new developments.

In addition to application support you are responsible for the further development and optimization of systems.

Last but not least you enjoy sharing your expert knowledge and are responsible for creating documentation and training materials.

You will also have the opportunity to contribute your experience in the cloud environment participate in cloud migration projects or receive training as an expert in cloud technologies.

Your qualifications and qualifications are what you need to join us:

Completed degree in a STEM subject (mathematics computer science natural sciences technology) business administration or a comparable qualification

At least 3 years of professional experience preferably in the following areas:

IT support services (ITIL certification is advantageous)

Data integration projects using an Oracle database and an ETL tool (e.g. Oracle Data Integrator (ODI) Informatica PowerCenter dbt etc.)

SQL databases and PL/SQL programming as well as database design (with a focus on OracleDB)

Knowledge of DWH architecture in the cloud ideally in OCI Google Cloud AWS or MS Azure is desirable

Knowledge and experience in the field of AI are welcome

High IT affinity and analytical thinking are advantageous

Willingness to learn and a strong desire to share knowledge

Ability to work independently and drive project work forward

High customer focus and excellent time management skills
